The green bond market is heating up after a record breaking month in October. Now November is set to be a month to remember when the history of the asset class is written, write Craig McGlashan and Tyler Davies.

A pair of banks have announced plans to roadshow green bonds — and two other major lenders are thought to be in the pipeline. Meanwhile, hopes are growing that a first sovereign bond in the format could come as early as next year, although some market experts are holding on to the possibility that it could arrive before a major climate change conference in Paris later this month.
