BAA back in euro market after 2 years with classy ‘A’ bond

BAA, the UK airports operator and owner of Heathrow, made its comeback to the euro market this week, pricing its first deal in the currency since 2008.

The borrower, rated A-/A-, raised Eu500m of six year secured class ‘A’ paper that was priced at 205bp over mid-swaps and with a coupon of 4.125%. The spread amounted to a new issue concession of 10bp, based on where the borrower’s 2014 and 2018 euro deals were trading. ...
