Investors more optimistic about banks
Investor optimism on the outlook for banks has improved, according to a Fitch Ratings investor survey, which shows half of respondents believe credit conditions will get better for financial institutions over the next year.
That number exceeds the 15% who said they thought conditions for banks would get worse and the 35% who believed they would not change. Its also a sharp increase from the third quarter, when just 41% surveyed thought things would get better for banks.
