Sovereign debt tops investor worries, says BofA Merrill
EU sovereign debt funding is now the biggest tail risk for investors, according to the latest monthly survey of fund managers by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, which was published on Tuesday. Sentiment around Chinese growth prospects is also weakening.
Fears over EU sovereigns have this month overtaken the risk of commodity price inflation as the biggest concern for investors, with 36% of those surveyed identifying it as the top risk among a list they were asked to rank.
The change is a response to lower growth forecasts
