US credit will beat Europe, investors predict
Credit portfolio managers are deeply divided over whether European credit spreads will widen or tighten by the end of September, according to a survey — though they tend to predict that US spreads will tighten.
The polls results underline the deep uncertainty in markets about whether European leaders can find a solution to the eurozone debt crisis. They also reflect investors optimism that the US will find a way out of its budget impasse.
