Country Data Explanation and Sponsor Disclaimer

In the data section of this report, we have profiled 37 of the key economies within the CEEMEA region. The choice of countries was determined by a number of factors, including capital markets development, growth potential and engagement at the international level. In each case, we have attempted to present a snapshot of the country’s economic activity, with data covering macroeconomic fundamentals, debt and equity capital markets, loan availability and currency performance.

We have sourced the data from a wide range of providers, including those within the countries covered – finance ministries, stock exchanges and central banks – and multilateral organisations such as the IMF. Much of the data relating to specific deals has been sourced from Dealogic, and S&P and Fitch have also helped with the provision of ratings reports for the countries within their purview. Inevitably, more data has been available – and on occasion more accessible – for some countries than for others, so the length and scope of the profiles varies considerably.

We would like to point out that the choice, research, compilation and use of the data in the following profiles has been undertaken by EuroWeek and not the sponsors of this report. For more information please contact Toby Fildes, managing editor, EuroWeek: tfildes@euroweek.com.
