Zhaikmunai seeks bondholders’ consent for listing change

Kazakh oil and gas company Zhaikmunai is seeking consent from bondholders to obtain a premium listing of some or all of its equity on the London Stock Exchange or another recognised exchange.

This might require the termination of its GDR listing in London, unless it chooses a different exchange, and likely reorganisation transactions by the parent and its subsidiaries.

The bond in question is a $450m 10.5% senior deal due 2015. Two credit analysts said the waiver would likely be passed. ...
