Credit Suisse and Qatar Holding form new asset management JV

Credit Suisse and one of its major shareholders, Qatar Holding, have agreed to create a new emerging markets asset management joint venture.

The new business, named Aventicum Capital Management, will be launched in Doha in early 2013. It will focus on the Middle East and Turkey, as well as “other frontier markets,” according to Credit Suisse.
