Issuer calmness disappoints bankers in senior FIG
A spurt of issuance on Tuesday proved short lived for the second consecutive week in the European senior unsecured FIG market, with no new benchmarks appearing on Wednesday morning. Bankers again pointed to looming event risk which could shorten March’s issuance window, but conceded that reduced funding needs were keeping candidates relaxed.
