Hungary files for $5bn in new SEC shelf
Hungary has filed a registration statement with the SEC to issue up to $5bn in debt securities, and analysts are expecting the sovereign to take advantage of the chunky new programme before the end of the year.
The sovereign filed the registration statement on Tuesday, which will allow it to issue up to $5bn across multiple transactions and currencies. Debt bankers and analysts are expecting a deal to follow before the end of 2013.
