Caja Madrid is one of dozens of Spanish savings banks that have joined forces with its peers, in a big shake up of the Spanish banking system. Katie Llanos-Small examines the bank’s borrowing record, and takes a look at the capital markets’ plans of the new entity, which will be Spain’s biggest retail deposit-taker.
