Credit Suisse opens Philippines brokerage

Zurich-based investment bank Credit Suisse will do the first trade in its newly minted Manila-based brokerage this week, according to country manager Simon Paterno. It aims to expand its headcount from 20 to up to 35 in a push for fixed income coverage.
