Ex-StanChart CEO moves to Bahrain Islamic Bank
Bahrain Islamic Bank has hired Hassan Ameen Jarrar — the chief executive officer of Standard Chartered Bank in Bahrain for four years — as CEO of its bank.
He starts on July 1.
Before becoming Bahrain CEO for Standard Chartered Bank, he was a managing director and country head of the United Arab Emirates for the bank, focused on origination and client coverage. He was in that role between 2007 and 2011.
