Air France sells Amadeus block to rehabilitate name

Air France sold a €125m stake in Amadeus, which makes IT systems for holiday firms, on Tuesday night, bringing a successful deal after a high profile failed trade in the name in 2012.

Air France sold 4.5m shares, 1.8% of the company, at €28 each. That was around a 1.8% discount to Tuesday’s close.

Société Générale was bookrunner for the deal, which was launched at 6.20pm in Paris, with initial guidance of €28.00 to Tuesday’s €28.51 close. That offered a 1.79% discount, the ...
