CP dealers advise stubborn Russian issuers to print more
Commercial paper dealers are urging Russian banks to increase their issuance of the product, but are having a hard time convincing anyone as the borrowers are unwilling to pay up to print.
“Dealers are urging us to use the commercial paper market as there is strong demand there, but levels are unfavourable at the moment,” said a funding official at one Russian bank.
