EuroMTS trades across Europe in government bonds and other liquid instruments such as Pfandbriefe and obligations foncières. JP Morgan was one of five investment banks to launch the platform in 1998. Since then, Spongano has worked closely with CEO Gianluca Garbi to promote the platform in European markets.

EuroMTS added a segment for German government bonds earlier this month, and company spokesman Allan Malvar told EuroWeek that it will announce plans next week to further increase its European coverage.
