In December EuroWeek asked banks, institutional investors and borrowers to vote for the outstanding loan arrangers and borrowers of 2005 in 40 categories. These ranged from the most impressive arranger of syndicated loans to the bank with the most improved market profile. They were also asked to rank the most impressive deals of the year.
The nominations in each category were published in EuroWeek's Review of the Year 2005 in January, but the winners were kept secret until the Syndicated Loans & Leveraged Finance Awards dinner on February 7, 2006, at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. Over the next three pages is a list of all the awards, as well as the winner and four runners-up in each category.
