JAFZ sukuk flies on talk of de-pegged dirham

The promise of a de-pegging of the United Arab Emirates dirham from the dollar helped Jebel Ali Free Zone this week price the largest ever straight sukuk — a Dh7.5bn five year floater that attracted Dh11.5bn of orders, most of them from Middle Eastern accounts.
