Taminco tests sponsor IPOs in Eu421m Brussels listing

Taminco, the Belgian speciality chemicals company, started bookbuilding a Eu421m IPO on Thursday in what will be the first test for the wave of private equity backed floats to hit markets in 2010.

"Private equity firms are looking at this one," a Dutch syndicate banker involved said. "The deal will show if the market is ready for private equity owned firms to delever through the IPO market."

Taminco offers shares at Eu11-Eu14, leaving up to 60.7% of the company in free float ...
