DrK haemorrhage continues as analysts Houghton, Popov quit

Peter Houghton, Dresdner Kleinwort’s global head of research, and Eugene Popov, senior emerging market corporate credit analyst both left the bank on Monday. The departures come as morale reaches a low at the bank, which has been hæmorrhaging staff, through both deep planned staff cuts and resignations. Last week, Dresdner paid bonuses to its staff.

DrK declined to comment on Houghton’s departure, although it is understood he has told his team — one of the most respected research groups in European capital markets — that he is retiring from the business to spend more time with his family.
