Basra, Winter rise in latest Citi shuffle

Citi has reshuffled its capital markets and securitisation divisions, giving bigger jobs to two of its best known bankers, Eirik Winter and David Basra, in an effort to streamline what the bank calls its client-facing businesses.

The bank is merging its Europe, Middle East and Africa capital markets origination business and its securitised products and conduits operation, with Basra, head of European securitisation and real estate finance, moving into the combined division and assuming additional responsibilities in emerging markets, syndicated loans and leveraged finance.
