BNPP hires Acharya for MTNs

BNP Paribas has hired Smit Acharya, who resigned from Crédit Agricole in early April, as a senior MTN trader.

He starts in July and will report to Marc Falconer, global head of MTNs and private placements. Falconer joined BNPP as head of MTNs and private placements in July from Citi, and was made global head last month.
