Barclays picks Archie Cox as Americas chairman

Barclays has hired Archie Cox as chairman of its Americas division in New York, reporting to Bob Diamond, president of the firm.

Cox will also be a member of Barclays’ investment banking and investment management (IBIM) executive committee.
