Caja Madrid, Bancaja open jumbo Eu17bn exchange

Caja Madrid and Bancaja are leading the charge among Spanish banks to tackle a looming wall of wholesale funding maturities in 2012, launching an exchange of nearly Eu17bn of senior, cédulas, and government guaranteed debt.
