Investment grade borrowers raise $4bn of new debt in US
With continuing investor appetite highlighted by a record low coupon, investment grade borrowers led by ANZ Bank raised as much as $4bn of new debt in US markets this week ahead of an anticipated stampede for funding next month. The likelihood of a bumper January grew with investors’ neutral response to the first outline of the Federal Reserve’s exit strategy from ultra-loose policy.
