Turkey prints big 30 year on ‘black swan day’

While the Republic of Turkey underscored its investor appeal by once again being the year’s first CEEMEA bond issuer out of the blocks, its 30 year new issue was nowhere near as straightforward as its $2bn jumbo 12 months earlier.

A slump in US Treasuries left the sovereign having to give official guidance 10bp wider than earlier whispers, though its deal later traded up strongly.
