BofA Merrill, Deutsche take FIG lead after Danske completes

Bank of America Merrill Lynch enjoyed a good day for its FIG equity capital markets franchise on Wednesday. No sooner had it completed the Dkr20bn ($3.8bn) rights issue of Danske Bank, for which it had provided a full pre-underwrite, than it was mandated as joint global co-ordinator for a Eu5bn Intesa Sanpaolo deal alongside the Italian bank’s own Banca Imi.
