Move over, Asia: Chile and Mexico credits kick off new LatAm EM supply surge

Eurobonds from Chile and Mexico this week — including a pair of long absent credits — have signalled a new rush of emerging markets supply from Latin America and CEEMEA.

"Asia’s been the hot part of EM for a little while, but the supply from Latin America is starting to get going, we’re expecting CEEMEA to do the same over the next couple of weeks," said an emerging markets syndicate official.
