Bankia cuts price, base deal covered

Spain’s Bankia cut the bottom of its IPO price range on Monday and said that orders have fully covered the new base deal size of Eu3.09bn ahead of books closing this evening.

The new range brings the price into line with where initial feedback from pre-marketing to international institutions put the deal two weeks ago, at 0.4 times book value or Eu3.75 a share.

That is 15% below the bottom of the original range of Eu4.41-Eu5.05. And it is also about as low as ...
