TeliaSonera calls investors for quick €500m

TeliaSonera, the Swedish-Finnish telecoms company with operations as far afield as Uzbekistan and Nepal, launched a swift bond sale today, collecting €500m of long 10 year money at a yield of 4.134%.

A March 2022 maturity was chosen because the company, rated A3/A-, already has a November 2021 bond.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas and Citigroup announced the deal this morning, and it found good demand at the initial talk of 145bp-150bp over mid-swaps.
