Fitch has said that the possibility of the Irish government delivering on its pre-election promise of bailing in Anglo Irish’s unguaranteed senior unsecured debt has become remote. The outlook for the rest of the Irish banking system, meanwhile, is becoming more positive, with signs of the beginning of a recovery.
