CEE fees debate to the fore as Romania mandates GS

Romania mandated a Goldman Sachs-led consortium to run the Bucharest IPO of Romgaz, a potential €250m-€500m deal planned for later this year.

Erste Bank, BCR and Raifeissen are also in the wining consortium.

Citi — along with ING and Société Générale — and JP Morgan — along with UniCredit, Alpha Bank and BT Securities — led the two other consortia bidding for the deal.
