Daimler raises €750m off modest book

Daimler raised €750m in the euro corporate bond market’s only new issue on Wednesday, as investors and borrowers continued to circle each other in a scratchy stand-off.

The German car company has been so much quieter this year than Volkswagen that it is easy to forget it has been quite prolific itself — this was its sixth deal in euros, which did not make it easier for the leads to drum up interest.
