Garanti Bank selects banks for new bond

Garanti Bank, Turkey’s second largest private bank by assets, has mandated BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Standard Chartered Bank to arrange a bond.

The bank’s last issue was a dual tranche dollar deal placed in September 2012, comprising a $600m 4% 2017 tranche and a $750m 5.25% 2022 tranche.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi, Commerzbank and Morgan Stanley arranged the bond, which attracted over $8bn of orders.
