Shareholder sells £83m Jupiter stake

Private equity firm TA Associates raised £82.7m through a sale of shares in Jupiter Fund Management on Wednesday evening, through an accelerated bookbuild.

Sole bookrunner JP Morgan placed 26m shares, 5.7% of the company, at 318p each. That was a 3.34% discount to Wednesday's 329p close.

The shares fell slightly on Thursday morning, falling as low as 319.5p, but remained comfortably above the issue price and rallied into the afternoon to close ...
