Bailey: bonus cap driven by ‘popular anti-banker sentiment’

Andrew Bailey has told a parliamentary select committee that the proposed EU cap on bankers’ bonuses is driven by “popular anti-banker sentiment”, and will reduce the power of disciplinary mechanisms in pay packages.
