Springer confirms €800m IPO plans

Management and shareholders of Springer Science+Business, which began preparations for its €800m float on June 5, affirmed their commitment to an IPO on Thursday. That follows reports that investors were considering an outright sale instead, which might have been distracting for the pre-marketing process.
