EM bond volumes beat 2012 record, CEEMEA still shy

Total international emerging market international bond volumes surpassed the record set last year on Thursday, according to Dealogic data. But CEEMEA volume watchers will have to keep the champagne on ice for now with the market some way short of breaking its volume record.

The record now stands at $469.4bn, $1.1bn past the full year volumes of 2012, having been pushed over the line by deals from Gabon, CSSC Capital, Bao-Trans Enterprises, and Pacnet.
