BAML hits Europe for double senior issue

Bank of America Corporation launched a two-pronged assault on Europe’s funding markets on Tuesday as it combined a rare euro-denominated senior benchmark with an even rarer sterling one.

The US bank announced a long five year euro transaction on Tuesday morning, before launching a separate minimum £250m 13 year sterling transaction.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch was sole bookrunner on both deals, and released initial price thoughts for the euro January 2019 issue at 95bp over mid-swaps ...
