Lagarde talks up Europe’s climate finance role

Christine Lagarde has praised Europe’s achievement in developing the climate finance market, which she said was now dominated by paper in euros.

Speaking on Thursday, at the launch of the Private Finance Agenda for the COP 26 climate change summit in Glasgow later this year, the head of the European Central Bank said Europe had taken the lead internationally in issuing green bonds.
