Corporate bonds pick up momentum despite down day

Equities are down on Wednesday, but corporate bond issuance, in both the investment grade and high yield sectors, is going ahead briskly, after an encouraging day of strong issuance on Tuesday.

This week has not produced the volume of last, when there were nine deals totalling €9.8bn just on Tuesday and Wednesday. But after an inactive Monday due to holidays, Tuesday produced deals.
