France adds to privatisation drive with new ABB

The French state has continued its privatisation drive with state-owned bank Bpifrance selling a €284.7m stake in Eutelsat Communications on Thursday.

Credit Suisse, Citi and Société Générale were bookrunners on the all-secondary trade, which accounted for a 6.7% stake in the satellite company.

The deal consisted of a sale of 15.5m shares and was launched at 6.10pm in Paris, with the books closing at 8.45pm. The ...
