Petronas Chemicals signs $1bn bridge loan

Malaysian state-owned oil and gas company Petronas’s chemicals unit has signed a bridge loan for $1bn as part of the conditions of its divestment agreement with Saudi Aramco.

On October 2, Petronas Chemicals, a subsidiary of Petronas, announced that it had signed a share purchase agreement with Aramco Overseas Holdings Coöperatief (AOHC), a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, to sell 50% of its polymers business PRPC Polymers.
