Caution the watchword for FIG investors

Investors will be more selective about the bonds they buy from banks, as increased competition and the sovereign exposure for certain financial institutions will pose risks for some banks’ ability to fund. That, at least, was the view of the investors on the Appetite for Bank Securities panel at the Euromoney bank finance conference in Amsterdam on Thursday.
