Equity bankers have expressed surprise doubts over plans to float London’s Battersea Power Station in view of the derelict site’s chequered history and consequent high risk. Although one of the UK capital’s landmark buildings, Battersea Power Station was closed in 1983 and has endured successive failed attempts at redevelopment — many of which have damaged it.
