BoE’s Haldane taken to task over Coco voting comments

The debate about the preferred structure for contingent capital was reopened this week after the Bank of England’s executive director of financial stability, Andrew Haldane, suggested extending voting rights to holders of hybrid debt securities such as Cocos.
