Great Portland raises £140m

West End property specialist Great Portland Estates raised £140.6m from a cash-box placing on Wednesday that was well-received by its existing shareholders. With many using the deal as an opportunity to move up the register, pricing came at a narrow 1.96% discount to Tuesday’s close.
