French ECM strong but bankers want diversity

French equity capital markets saw almost three times as much issuance in the first half of 2013 as in the same period in 2012, and French banks and investors have good reason to be confident for the rest of the year. The high total hides an increasing concentration of activity in the hands of a small number of banks and deal types.
