UK passes on £5bn Lloyds sale chance
The UK government on Thursday afternoon passed up what looked to many ECM bankers a great chance to start selling down its 39%, £21bn stake in Lloyds Banking Group, perhaps heeding the caution of others who suggested that it would come with an element of risk.
