Portugal to “prove access” with auctions
A return to regular debt auctions — slated for the first half of 2014 — along with a syndicated tap last week should be sufficient to convince Portugal’s creditors that it can exit its financial assistance programme on schedule in the middle of this year, a funding official at Portuguese Treasury and Debt Management Agency told SSA Markets.
